About the role
Ocean to Earth Recruitment is supporting a growing geo-environmental consultancy in Glasgow that is looking for a Geo-Environmental Engineer with around two to three years' consultancy experience to join its expanding team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys balancing site work with technical reporting and wants to develop their career across contaminated land, ground investigations and geotechnical projects.
The role
You'll be involved throughout the project lifecycle, from supervising site investigations to interpreting data and producing technical reports.
Your responsibilities will include:
Overseeing site investigation works and contractors
Soil and rock logging to industry standards
Groundwater and environmental sampling
Supporting Phase 1 and Phase 2 investigations
Assisting with contaminated land assessments
Interpreting laboratory and site investigation data
Producing clear technical reports and recommendations
Supporting remediation and validation projects
Working closely with experienced engineers and geologists
About you
We're looking for someone with:
Around 2 to 3 years' experience in a geo-environmental or engineering geology consultancy
A degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, Environmental Science or a related discipline
Practical experience supervising site investigations
Strong soil and rock logging skills
Experience preparing technical reports
A full UK driving licence
A proactive attitude and a desire to develop your technical expertise
