1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by a website. Similar technologies such as localStorage and sessionStorage also store small amounts of information in your browser. Environment.jobs uses both.
2. Strictly necessary technologies
These are required for the site to work and are used for authentication and sessions, security, remembering your privacy choices, preserving unfinished job adverts, basic interface state and secure payment functionality when you reach checkout.
3. Optional analytics
Environment.jobs does not currently run a third-party analytics or tracking product (there is no Google Analytics, Plausible, PostHog or similar tag on the site). Aggregate job-view and Apply-click counts are recorded in our own database as part of the service and are not delivered by analytics cookies. If we introduce optional analytics in future, it will not activate before consent and this policy will be updated.
4. Advertising cookies
Environment.jobs does not use behavioural advertising-network cookies.
5. Third-party functionality
Stripe may set browser technologies when you open a payment checkout, and Google Maps / Places may set them when you use a map or location-autocomplete field. These load only when you interact with the relevant feature.
6. Your choices
You can review and change your consent choice for optional technologies at any time. Strictly necessary technologies cannot be switched off, because the site cannot function without them.

8. Browser controls
You can block or delete cookies and clear site storage in your browser settings. Doing so may sign you out and remove saved drafts and preferences.
