Frequently asked questions

Is Environment.jobs free for candidates?

Yes — searching, saving jobs, creating job alerts and the newsletter are all free.

How do I apply for a job?

Click the Apply on employer website button on the job page — you'll be taken to the employer's own application page to apply there. Environment.jobs does not receive or manage your application, and we don't collect CVs, cover letters or applicant data on your behalf.

Do you store my CV?

No. Environment.jobs does not host a CV database and employers cannot browse candidate profiles here. Every application is submitted directly on the employer's website under their own privacy policy.

How do I post a job?

Create an employer account, then visit Post a job. You'll provide an external application URL on your own site where candidates will complete their application. Listings stay live for up to 42 days, subject to the employer’s selected closing date.

Do you only cover the UK?

We launched UK-first. More countries are being added — sign up to the newsletter to be notified.

Are entry-level and graduate roles genuine?

Yes. We reject any role that hides senior requirements behind an 'entry-level' label.
