Environmental Grant Fundraising Manager

The Role
The Environmental Grant Fundraising Manager will play a strategic role in identifying, structuring, and securing grants to support growth. This role requires a strong combination of strategic thinking, proposal development, stakeholder management, and financial acumen.
Key Responsibilities
Build relationships with funding agencies, institutions, public sector stakeholders, and strategic partners
Identify and assess relevant grant and non-dilutive funding opportunities in Europe and internationally
Build and manage a pipeline of grant funding opportunities aligned with company priorities
Lead funding plans, timelines, and submission strategies for key opportunities
Prepare high-quality grant applications, proposals, and business cases
Support engagement with external partners, research institutions, and consortium members where needed
Manage the full funding process, from opportunity screening to submission, approval, and disbursement support
Ensure compliance with reporting, audit, and governance requirements
Track project progress, deadlines, reporting needs, and budget use
What You Will Bring
Proven experience in environmental grant funding, fundraising and/or non-dilutive capital
Strong track record of developing and submitting high-quality funding applications to public, institutional, multilateral, foundation, or innovation-focused funders and donors
Ability to translate complex technical or strategic initiatives into clear, well-structured proposals
Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across functions and drive execution
Solid project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines
Strategic mindset, with strong attention to detail and high-quality standards
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Confidence working in an international, fast-paced, and pioneering environment
English proficiency is required
Ability to work remotely from Europe and collaborate effectively across teams and time zones
Willingness to travel occasionally, as needed
